William Celebrates Wife Kate's Birthday with Heartfelt Tribute

The Prince of Wales has wished his wife, Catherine, a heartfelt happy birthday as she turns 43.

The Princess has recently resumed her royal duties after undergoing preventative chemotherapy following her cancer diagnosis last year.

Alongside the personal message, Kensington Palace shared a previously unseen black-and-white photo of Catherine, taken by photographer Matt Porteous in Windsor last summer. In the relaxed image, she smiles warmly, dressed casually in jeans, a white shirt, and a scarf, maintaining the couple's signature style of informal, non-traditional royal imagery.

The Royal Family also extended their birthday wishes to Catherine.

The monarchy's official social media account posted on X: Happy Birthday to The Princess of Wales! accompanied by a birthday cake emoji. The post included a photo of Catherine receiving flowers from well-wishers during her Christmas Day church attendance at Sandringham, marking the last public appearance of the Prince and Princess of Wales together.

Catherine is reportedly celebrating her birthday at home in Windsor with William and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

William has previously described 2024 as probably the hardest year of his life, as his father, the King, was also diagnosed with cancer.

Last month, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared their Christmas card featuring an image from a poignant video Catherine filmed to announce the end of her chemotherapy.

The emotional video, recorded in Norfolk in August, highlighted themes of family and resilience during challenging times, closing with Catherine's uplifting message: Out of darkness can come light.
